The present day business of PW has been built around the original core: we are,at heart, earthmoving specialists. Start at any civil engineering project, and inevitably earthworks will come before anything else. For many years we have embarked on high-profile projects in Ireland, the UK and Africa. In each case the common factor has been the requirement to excavate, move and place large quantities of earth and rock. As specialist, we are able to tackle any size of earthmoving task.

We run one of the most extensive plant inventories in West Africa, under-pinned by the leading equipment suppliers like CAT, O&K, Mercedes and Volvo.

In most cases, shifting earth is only the start of a project; today our role is very often that of main contractor. We have amassed considerable experience in the mining, petrochemical, water and industrial sectors - taking many major contracts from bare earth to finished construction.
